Welcome to New Volleyball Coach

Welcome Coach Christina Scott to Locust Fork High School. She is LFHS's P.E. Coach Scottcoach and varsity and junior varsity volleyball coach. Coach Scott has two kids that also attend Locust Fork: Cody, age 10 and J.J., age 8.

Coach Scott attended Holly Pond High School where she played volleyball, basketball, track, and softball. She received many athletic awards in high school, including: All State Volleyball, All State Basketball, and made it to the state finals in track for high jump. She also received a basketball scholarship to Wallace State in Hanceville.

Coach Scott has played volleyball since 7th grade and has always loved the game. She says, “Since I can’t play anymore this is almost as exciting. I enjoy helping young girls accomplish new things and succeed in athletics.”

She enjoys coaching at Locust Fork because it’s very similar to where she grew up. She really likes the community and the people here.

She says, “I am expecting great things from my team. We are getting better by the day. I have more confidence in all my players because they are all working so hard and always play as a team.

I feel our team can go a long way this year after having a successful season last year. The girls know how it feels to win and I believe they are ready to repeat at county and continue winning.”

We would like to wish Coach Scott and all the Volleyball players good luck on the upcoming season.
