The Locust Fork Class of 1959 held their 50 year class reunion on May 16.  A total of forty-one classmates and spouses were present; twenty-three were classmates.  The reunion was held at Plantation Golf Club located on Hwy 160 near Nectar.  Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of steak or chicken with baked potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert, which included a cake decorated in green and white.  The tables were decorated with white cloths and green place mats with vases of white roses, which was the class flower.  Slides of pictures that were made during school times including the class trip to Washington, DC were shown.  Songs from the fifties brought back many memories. 

 

Everyone is grateful for the tireless efforts of those who organized and worked to make the event such a great success that will always be remembered b y the Locust Fork Class fo "59".
