Assistant Principal: Tammy McMinn

 
 

Mrs. McMinn first attended college at the University of Alabama. She then transferred to Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Mrs. McMinn received a Master’s degree in Secondary Education at the University of Montevallo and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Samford University.  She is currently working on her Educational Specialist’s degree at the University of West Alabama.

Mrs. McMinn started her teaching career in Port Arthur, Texas where she taught drama. She then moved to Alabama where she taught drama at Fairview High School. She then taught English and Spanish at Susan Moore High School. She joined Locust Fork High School in 2008 to teach English. In 2015, she was appointed to the Vice Principal position at Locust Fork High School.

Mrs. McMinn met her husband, Michael McMinn, at the University of Alabama and they have been married for 26 years. Mrs. McMinn and her husband have five sons, Zachary, Jacob, Nicholas, Luke and Isacc. Some of her many interests include international travelling and reading.
