Fingerprinting Lab

Recently , students of Mrs. Harris's 10th grade Anatomy class experienced an unusual type of lab. Officer Benny Richardson came in to show the class the fundamentals of fingerprinting. "I hoped to help give the students an idea of what can and cannot be done in the criminal justice system," Officer Benny explained. Not only did the students get to do their fingerprints but they also received a copy of them to take home with them. Tenth grader Brittany Ewing said " I really enjoyed this lab, not only was it very interesting but we also got to use certain materials such as magnetic powder that we never would've been able to use otherwise."Overall this lab proved not only to be very educational but also a very enjoyable fun activity for the students.
